Then lets start making our New Years resolutions!!!

I personally want to get back in shape. I've got this nagging suspicion our ancestors from the hunter/gathering era would be shaking their heads at the lots of us.

Gotta hit the gym!!!!

so I can feel even more worthless watching all the fit people workout

I could probably lose 15lbs of weight, but I’m in reasonably good shape for my age.

Although according to vurt small children regularly beat me up...

I get beat up by small children too, I've lost a lot of weight (mostly 2016), around 50lbs...I could lose more but it's been staying off which is good

Compared to the Dutch I’m a whale but against the average Australian, American or Brit I’m a twig.

I guess that’s why I travel a lot :hihi:

I still maintain that ‘blob’ is a shape. I was fit/healthy until 2005 when I was taken off the highway by an over weight gravel truck. As a result, bits of me are made from titanium and plastics. I’m currently having trouble with my left foot which has about 200 steps a day in it before the thing just hurts too much to take another step. This has been going on for the last ten weeks and it’s really removed my gruntle.
I guess we’ll begin an investigation once my better halfs’ holiday is over.
Bone scans, MRIs and x-rays etc. I’m expected to drop dead due to radiation sickness I think.
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

Hi OP. FWIW.. I used to hover around the 200lbs most of my adult life. Now I hover around 170lbs. What changed? I go to the gym during lunch and eat my lunch at my desk. I eat light means and dont drink on week days. Week ends I still party drink and eat whatever I want.

Good luck.

I'm around 220lbs (100kg) but I'm still quite skinny. Little soft on my belly and hips but luckily it's still mostly muscle. Should begin gym routines again..

To use a Peter Kay witticism, I'm capital D shaped. The only exercise I enjoy is swimming but I'm determined to use the gym this year too. I want to reduce my size before I hit 50 and I'm nearly 48 and lazy as hell 8)

the gym brings on other problems. knee pains, hand and wrist bone spurs, weird stuff like that. i am looking at switching to swimming as my ligaments and bones aren't in same shape anymore as the other 20 yr olds in gym.
