I like where you are going.
For some reason, every time the vocal starts after a break, I think Beatles! But it really isn't like them at all.
I like that you are playing with song structure but at times feel like there are transitions that don't hang together, esp those where the song just seems to stop.

Been a long time. Absolutely love the synth work on this one. Gotta tell me what synths you used. Mix is super clean. Really, really love this one. Sorry, couldn't resist. I don't mind the vocal stops. I think they're cool.
Anyway, could you review my latest? It's called "Just Like Jimmy Neutron" and it's on the last page of my mega thread. At least that way somebody'll listen to it.

Thank you for the kind review, I appreciate it! The bass synth is u-he Hive, as is the polyphonic glide synth, and the lead synth during the chorus. A synth pad and the synth at the end is Dune 2. There is a Sylenth lead synth in there also. I will now check out your song.

I like the vibe and the retro feel.
I listened to Really , really need you. Good. I think your vocal melody might be more interesting if you withheld the root note more often. Meaning create some tension, more unpredictability.
(there's no need to review my music, but do review my next one which is retro, a genre which you are familiar with. : ))
ps: Liked Egypt. Liked the next one with the flange-guitars (or phased?)

Hive synth, and it's major competitor, heh? It works.
It is somewhere between Klaatu and Gary Numan in style. It is different in a cool way. A stronger lead in places might have pushed it harder toward Gary Numan/NIN but it works as it is.

Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.
