Still working on the mix.

According to my guitar teacher from the past (Bart van Halteren) you can already play a lot of songs if you only know 3 chords, such as the C, F and G7 chords. With this in mind, I thought it was a challenge to make a song in C-minor (Hans Zimmer's favorite key) with only the 2 minor chords: the iv and v-stage. So with only the F minor and G minor.

I also experimented with FL Studio's random function in this song so that every note is "hit" slightly differently. For example, I made the note length and the hardness of the attack more varied by FL Studio. Just like in real life, because no one can, I think, consistently strike each note as hard as the previous one and hold as long as the previous one.

The title of this track "Pas de pluie est le même" also somewhat refers to that randomness. I'm not very good at French, but I think it means that no rain, or raindrop, is the same.

The piece is nice, although perhaps in need of a somewhat better mix, to let some 'air' actually go through the layers of sound. And perhaps not have some sounds at the forefront, but rather more blended in, to let the strings take more place to let their full expression of a hint at a theme.

As for the title ... It makes no sense. The gender is wrong and even if it was right, it would just come across as meaningless. The way it's formulated the object is missing: (assuming right gender) is the same as what ? You surely had something else in mind to express.

"Qu'importe s'il pleut" would perhaps be more accurate.

Cheers.

Nice easy listen. My only comment, I didn't feel like it resolves at the end.

Hmm Google translated that as "What does it matter if it rains". Nice title, but not what I had in mind. Hm, maybe an English title then :-)

True. It has an open ending.
