If you're not familiar yet, Korg's multi-engine is the underlying engine for a growing number of their hardware synthesizers. These currently include the Prologue, Minilogue XD, and NTS-1 synths. The multi-engine format allows you to download and install additional oscillators and effects into these hardware synths thereby greatly expanding their sonic capabilities. The Tarabbia Oscillator comes straight out of our popular Cheeze Machine soft synths. This oscillator is all about getting super thick, lush sounds without using up all your polyphony. The algorithm combines several internal oscillators into one for super thick mono sounds or big stacked chords. It provides continuous morphing between a saw and square shape as well as control over the brightness of the wave. It also features extensive unison controls. The Wavesweep Oscillator gives you the power to reshape the Korg Multi-Engine’s 90 wavetables. Put them together in any order and sweep through them with glorious control. The smoothness of the transition between waves can be controlled from a gentle fade to an abrupt change in tone. The oscillator plays back 2 detuned voices with realtime control over the detuning for smooth unison effects. The wave sweep can be looped or end at the last wave. The Supersaw Oscillator stands out from the crowd with seven carefully tuned sawtooths and two filters that result in some serious sonic edge. Used in our G8TOR virtual instrument, many customers say its the best sounding supersaw they have. Supersaw Osc consists of one saw wave oscillator that can be pitched down by 0, 1 or 2 octaves, mixed with 6 detuned secondary saw waves. The output of these 7 saw waves is then processed by a resonant digital filter that can be morphed between low-pass and hi-pass. Fantastic for leads and basses, but throw a modulating filter on top and any sound you can imagine is possible. The B3 Organ emulates a drawbar organ, sometimes referred to as a tonewheel organ, as well as a Leslie Speaker effect. The combination of the two gives you the full sound of a class Hammond B3. The oscillator has full drawbars emulation, percussion modes and keyclick. The Leslie effect gives control over speaker rotation speeds and wet/dry mix of the Leslie.
