ZynFusion 3.0.4

Just using add synth and just using voice 1
Set up a PULSE waveform.

In the modulation tab for addsynth voice 1. in the unison block.
set the size to 50 voices and the detune about half way and
spread and vibrato both to 0. speed half way and randomness to
NONE.

With old style zynaddsubfx display this would create a pulse
of sound as the
50 waveforms initially all add together but gradually come out
of phase and start to cancel out.

With the zyn fusion interface this does not work the same.
When I save the instrument, Checking the xiz file I find the parameter
unison_phase_randomness is set to 127.
If I manually set this to 0 and re load the xiz file then I get the
desired effect as described above.

I can't find how the set the unison_phase_randomness in the zyn
fusion interface. There is a knob for this in the original zynaddsubfx
interface which is missing from ZynFusion.

Am I missing something or is this an oversight?

Thanks for reading this and I hope someone can help.

Looks like it is an oversight. I can find the metadata defined for the parameter, but I can't find any knob which binds to the given parameter metadata. I'm guessing it was an oversight in the mockup and wasn't corrected since.

Could this be corrected?
It is a pity to lose something that was useful in the previous version.

It's on the issue tracker ( https://github.com/zynaddsubfx/zyn-fusi ... issues/127 ), though there's no current ETA.
