Hopefully not, but seems like my computer is about to die - been having problems for a while and is really struggling now. But before it does I managed one brief guitar piece - just a very quick one pass single guitar track with editing and FX in post. Nothing that couldn't be done live once the fx chain was developed. Most time was spent trying to get it to render (hence my concerns over the computer) but other than the render issues was just a couple of hours work. Might try some more if the computer keeps working

Have you considered looking at your computer and cleaning up unneeded resources. Possibly moving content you wish to keep onto separate space be it in the cloud or to external storage? Uninstalling programs you no longer use that utilize background processes?
The last desktop I owned I built from the ground up. The only thing I did on the cheap was the power supply. It lasted me 15 years. During that time a good portion of my computers use was doing video production as a product specialist for a software company I worked at.
You may wish to spend time learning how to optimize your computer. Or you can do what many do which is run out and complain about the last one and get a new one.

I decided to delete my soundcloud and only use bandcamp, so link is gone.
