Snare is overpowering the melody and that just shouldn't happen. Did you mix this? Or was this just screwing around? If the latter, ignore this post. Sorry but mix is just all wrong. Well of course I guess that depends on what you were going for. But I can barely hear the melody. Given that it's being played in the upper register, that takes some doing to bury it like that.

Well that explains a lot. Maybe in the future you might want to actually mix this thing properly. It might sound a lot better if you did.

Yeah, im kinda struggling with mixing. Maybe my old Alesis M1Active520 monitors are part of the problem. Or maybe im tonedeaf :D

Yeah, I'd turn down those drums and remix it, maybe even go with some lo-fi percussion in some places. Might get a nice vibe.

Thanks for the listen Bansaw. Yeah, in the heat of the jam moment the drums overpowered my judgement :D I guess i have to put in the mixing work. Never a free ride :hihi:
