Lots of tasty sound design. You created a lot of width and depth in the soundstage.

Powerful electronic drums reminiscent of Front 242's Tyranny For You.

The music is good but doesn't develop that much.

Great mix. Overall, a very strong effort. :tu:

Nice unusual start, sounds a bit like urban-depeche-mode and could also
pass as film music. I find the large space that you create there very
felicitous. The track is almost too short! :tu:

No one can legitimately bash this Layzer. I always enjoy your music, thanks for sharing it. Always impressed with your drum work and orchestration.

The only thing I'll bash is the keyboard to let you know that I like it! Interesting middle section.
Great sounds and lovely mix.
Well done. :)

I felt I should return the favor and listen to this, especially since you don't post much here.

I will say this much, you do a lot with those cheap toys of yours. We could argue all day about whether or not you need expensive synths and massive sample libraries, but nobody can argue with the results here. The mix is great and the sounds are equally as good. I do agree that musically it could probably use a little more development but it's a minor issue given how pleasant this thing was to listen to sonically.

You should do a Youtube video on mixing. I think a lot of people might actually learn something.

I agree with everyone else, nice sound design and mix for sure. The track is a little repetitive. The drums really help the song progress.

Nice. Like the bass and the effects. Percussion too.
The vocal narration adds something interesting.
Good job.

yep, the pads have several M1 program layers
made into a combi with each program tweaked
individually with pitch envelope, amp env, lfo mod
and effect processing. the bass took some TLC as well as the lead
and key sounds. and the drums... well i consider them my specialty.
I  F-242. "Tragedy for you" drums are busy but precisely programmed.
i did consider adding more to it, but i got tired of it and
wanted to start something new. thanks for checking it as aways :D

what I like especially here is that this guy is almost nagging people to develop their sound design skills (which will allow them to get great results also from free synths) instead of endlessly spending time and money following every new commercial synth released, and people are laughing it off, and then he's coming with a track which sounds more glossy, commercial, "expensive" and professional than most other tracks I've heard here.

ok, so i won't bash this, the mix sounds very professional, you obviously know what you are doing in that regard. i would love to be able to mix to this quality. i fully understand i am not a musician like most people on here, so obviously this review means nothing, but you kept it real with me, so i'll give my honest opinion of your track. it didn't do anything for me, didn't have any personality. didn't really go anywhere or keep my attention, it just felt repetitive.
we all have different tastes and ideas of what is appealing to hear.
