A little space/ambient piece for New Year's Eve. Features pad sounds from a VFX-SD Kontakt library, the Arturia Emulator II, and iPhone recordings from my yard with crickets making noise and cars driving by.

Enjoyable soundscape...I personally wanted a bit more rise and fall / ebb and flow, but I do understand that may not have been what you were aiming at!

I guess I always kind of lean that way. Influences are probably as expected - Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, also sometimes going to artists like Jonn Serrie, Giles Reaves or Tim Story. I basically just try to layer sounds with little melodic ideas and hope something comes out sounding halfway decent.
