Dear all
We are delighted to announce that we just lost the Reason studio's Algoritm synth contest with this little contribution in 5/8. Yeah, we understand if people may find our music a bit outdated, but that is unfortunately our point with it

Since it is on a playlist for contributers, there is not much we can do about arrangements now, but we can still fix some mixing and balance issues if you have any for os. Otherwise, we hope you just can enjoy this little intermezzo in our planned releases. Everything is made with the Algoritm FM synth.

I would like to hear some cinematic Game of Thrones type of powerful processed concert bass drums and toms being used on this piece.

Enjoyed it...good listen...impressive from that one FM synth!

Mix sounds fine...of course there is the obvious limitation of the FM synthesis - meaning that a lot of the sounds (especially in the upper register) have a slightly similar timbral edge to them at times.

Thanks for dropping by with feedback. We get the toms thing, and assure you that if the Algoritm FM synth had a ready tom preset, the rhythm section would have been more spicy. We had to make the piece fast. Our two other releases are toms/wardrums and percussion only. Not promoting here, it is just to assure you that we get it. Upcoming releases will have more heavy percussions as well.

Hi again Cham and nice to see you once again. You have already had your impact on our production, so great you come by again. And even more great that you do not have a lot of work for us this time

And you are spot on with the FM Synth. The only reason we could even participate was Algoritm’s physical modeling features, so we could retain our style. However, there are no sounds, we cannot make better with our other gear, so we did not even buy the synth after the contest. We have FM already. Better Physical modeling synths and samplepacks are for natural reasons more essential to us. Thanks again
