no, each one will have its own GUI built and they will run as independant plugins

So testing on my Mac M1, using any kind of unison causes intermittent cpu spikes. Maybe this is something that can be addressed with an optimization update? I kinda feel like the M1 should be able to handle this

However......for windows you need loopmidi setup, but what about OSX? What program should I download to set up the emulator so I can use an editor in Ableton?

Macs come with the IAC Midi driver since I think the very first OS X version, thats 10.0…

I tried using the demo of mystery islands with Live on my mac mini M1, couldnt get it to work. I used a max4live free editor I downloaded on the max4live site and it works fine. I have the latest update of the DSP563xx. It seems when unison is enabled, I get cpu spikes, aside from that, its pretty stable

Live 10 and 11 support the transfer of SysEx messages through Max for Live.

Yes, correct. I am using a max editor for it and it works great

Even tough Max supports the transfer of SySex messages, vsts in Live don’t receive them, so there are certain parameters that don’t work with those Max virus editors. For example “punch” parameter or phaser parameters. I’m not in front of my computer right now so maybe I’m wrong.
