I am working on a performance by a singer who passed away, so there is no choice but to use what I have, which unfortunately is occasionally distorted. I think whoever was tracking was hitting the pre-amp too hard: it doesn’t happen all the time, just when he belts it out. I can get rid of some of it by selective EQing, but it’s pretty laborious. Is there any kind of plug-in that Acon makes that can address this problem well?

Thanks for the clip, Lars! I would recommend DeClick 2. Only crackle is of interest in this case so you can disable the other two (“Click” and “Plosive and thump”).
