Texas Twang - Better Sounds?

Hi, about a year ago I bought the Evolution Texas Twang, and I'm finding the sounds to be a little strange or not something I would use in my songs, at least the presets. Some of the rhythms make a good background instrument, but not being a very good keyboardist, I find the rhythm presets and the options for tones that it comes with to not be as cool sounding as the marketing demo that got me to purchase it. Like most VST instruments I am looking to use it programmatically, not composing in real time.

Does anyone know of any more presets for this instrument that might be out there or tips on how to get it sounding better? I'm sure part of the problem is me, not the tool. I'm using it with Apple Logic Pro.
