Sounds like a simple installation issue, as there will be conflicts if older and new version are installed in parallel.
Please contact support so we can help you sort this out: https://u-he.com/support/#contact

Actually just tried it with the VST2 and VST3 in Ardour 6.6 with Ubuntu Studio 21.04 (KDE Plasma), and the up/down arrows to switch presets work just fine.
Can you share some more information about your system, which Linux version, which desktop environment, which version of Mixbus? And can you try it in Ardour to check if it works there?

You can consider the current price to be a sort of intro price.
As mentioned in the first post, MFM2 will stay at 79,-€ during the beta phase, but will go up to 99,-€ once the update is released.

I think I still bought it during that period (before the launching of the first fully commercial version).machinesworking wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 5:05 am Nice, downloaded, about to go play with it. I'm one of the probably 30 people who paid for MFM v1 when it was shareware and AU only! Love the new GUI!

What a great update this is! All working fine here on Mac/Catalina/Logic Pro X.

Tas, I did a completely fresh install on Windows and wasn't paying attention and after selecting my preferred plugin formats and just "Next'd" my way through the installer.
Result: My MFM2.data folder ended up as a sub-folder of my VST Plugins folder. So I selected D:\VST Plugins\U-he as the VST folder location, and the "automatic" option put the data folder in: D:\VST Plugins\U-he\MFM2.data\
Expected Result: I thought the Documents folder was the "preferred location" on Windows. So I was expecting it to go to: C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\U-he\MFM2.data
This was on a completely fresh install (never had MFM2 before). I think if the preferred location is Documents, then the automatic selection should go there by default, which it didn't here. Just my two cents.

M1 monterey 12.1 working fine in logic. sounds great. excellent update. the granular and sidebands stuff is great. having those extra fx thrown in really can make this nice soup of lazers and critter sounds.

The installer switched to that location because you chose a destination for the VST folder that was on another drive, and not on the usual C: drive.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 5:37 pm Result: My MFM2.data folder ended up as a sub-folder of my VST Plugins folder. Whether this was an intentional decision by the developers or an unintentional sideeffect is beyond my knowledge, as the developer who last worked on improving the installer is no longer working here.
Best would be to delete the MFM2.data folder, then run the installer again, and manually select the destination in the user documents.
But good catch, I did not know about this particular installer logic.

Already did all that before posting. Just figured it may be something you guys want to tweak. Or maybe not.tasmaniandevil wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 6:42 pm Best would be to delete the MFM2.data folder, then run the installer again, and manually select the destination in the user documents.
