Was the Geiger Counter the first module they did? First one I remember, I always wanted one.
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

I had a Geiger Counter pedal in a limited edition black colorway for a while. Sold it at some point (probably in the Great ER-301 Conversion), and I miss it. I never quite talked myself into getting the Euro version, because I don't see CV control as terribly useful with it, and I can always run stuff through Shapeshifter or Bitwig Grid's wavetables.

I was curious about several WMD modules but not quite enough to buy them... except for Synchrodyne. That one was really wild. The knobs were really closely packed together, but there wasn't anything else like it. It's still pretty difficult to find switched-capacitor filters and I'm still annoyed that IME made the third Bionic Lester a 90s digital filter instead.

If I didn't have a full rack and a lot of satisfaction with it, I'd be thinking about getting one again. If they drop a Legion demo in the next few days and it blows me away and I'm caught in a moment of weakness, I might get the Pod back off the shelf and grab a Synchrodyne and a Legion.

Stands are made by this shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/NoizziHardwood

Very cool people and good quality too. They build upon sale, and keep available stock low to not fall behind on orders.
They look top notch ... I'd like a good cradle stand for my Doepfers (Dark Energy & Dark Time). :tu:

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

What the hell, I bought a Synchrodyne. It's the same size as Inertia, so I can just say I have a 14HP slot for one weird filter or another.

I think the last things I bought I haven't mentioned on here (and after swearing blind I'd only get analogue modules) are three digital modules I got cheap(ish) used -

Michigan Synth Works Dust of Time

Erica Synths Graphic VCO

Paid under £650 for all three so did pretty well I think. I must admit the Dust of Time confounds me with all its different menus, but sounds good. Can't say these acquisitions have helped me in any way finish more tracks though, in fact too many options now so means quite the opposite.

To me, all the stuff jammed into Dust of Time is a big turnoff.

If it was "just" a super VCO with the Orgone Accumulator and a few other algorithms, without the modulators and MIDI and stuff... that's still a lot, but I think it'd make more sense.

still no word on the pests

Yes, it's not quite sunk in with me yet, I will give it a couple more months, but it may have to make way. My main issue is it's fiddly to click things without accidentally clicking on other things, there are mini buttons everywhere.

It's really just being used as a cheap way to get a drumkit's worth samples out of the little 104hp skiff I have so I don't have to drag over one of the bigger racks. I can plug one MIDI lead out of the 8 track Performer sequencer into it and away you go. Seems to work OK if a little rudimentary. I like to use it to get the basic building blocks then replace some of them with more analogue patches using white noise, filters and envelopes etc later on.

When you say not a fan of 1010, the company or specific products?
