My favorite was a surprise, humble Lounge Pian. Heard the sound add a few effects and a few hours later I was done with something I was working on for a while. This and Objects show what the payoff is for learning this beast. It looks simple and quick but it actually is very deep and super flexible.

Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

I've been looking for short, techy-sounding fills recently (or just sound FX that sound futuristic). To those of you who have bought the pack, does it provide on that front, or is it mostly soundscapes? I'll probably get it anyway since you can't go wrong with more atmosphere presets.

When I watch this video, I realize that a Basses category exists for this Library.Viktor [TUC] wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 4:38 pm Nick from Sonicstate posted a lovely "patch flip" video, in case you're interested:

I acquired it recently and I can't find the trace of the Basses category.
Is this normal ?

Nick got the soundset a week or two before the release, and apparently Viktor has merged the "Basses" and also the "Keys & Brass" folders into "Other Instruments" a few days later.geronimo wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 11:53 pmWhen I watch this video, I realize that a Basses category exists for this Library.Viktor [TUC] wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 4:38 pm Nick from Sonicstate posted a lovely "patch flip" video, in case you're interested:

I'm wondering whether there are some HOW-TO 'Cookbook' notes for this set?
Looking at the video, that Viktor [TUC] jaw-dropping sound that plays a melody when you hold a note down really sparked my curiosity about how the sausage is made, big time.
…also after watching (several) Sonic State videos on U-He, I wonder are there any Nick Batt presets in the U-He synth libraries under a pseudonym perhaps?

No book from the cooks but when you buy this house you'll get the kitchen, the spoons, all ingredients sitting on the counter top, the lonely pasta noodle still stuck to the tiles, a couple empty wine bottles, a few plastic miniature zebras w spatters of powerful sauce (do try it). so you'll See exactly how to whip up those dishes. i learned a lot from rev.engineering them. happy tasting

Sure me too… I've learned a whole lot 'Reverse Engineering' every single preset that peaked my curiosity — basically guessing how they work since more than 15 years ago.The RANDOMIZER scripts are also great for this… even just having alternate skins can open doors.
I would still welcome a Cookbook (series?) in a heartbeat …starting with HIVE next (please).
Howards' Bazille Cookbook is the first commercial Soundset I bought and very recently too (just before posting above) after all that time. Sweet bonus (aside from what it's teaching me) that the sounds themselves are super useable.
