I added it to my "long-list" but not sure if I ever will look into this.BenderRodriguez wrote: ↑Sun Feb 13, 2022 4:55 pm Would love to see XRNI (Renoise Instrument) export on this! The format is open and documented. It is basically a zipped XML with media files. The schema files (XSD) are being distributed with the installation...at least on Linux but I assume this is the case for the other OSes as well.

I just wanted to thank you for this tool. I'm currently working on a Decent Sample library and my usual method that requires Kontakt 6 didn't work because of the latest Kontakt 6 update.
I had to develop a method with ConvertWithMoss and SublimeText Editor and it works great! Thank you!

I noticed a bug with certain samples. I get this error message:
For most samples, there are no problems, but with some samples the app simply rejects them. Another example (with stereo samples):
Is there something special with these file names that prevent them from being converted?
Code: Select all
Detecting and converting multisamples...
Analyzing: C:\Users\sampl\OneDrive\Bureau\In\X
Could not create multisample: Could not detect MIDI note in file name: PaBo_B2.wav
Finished.

Could not create multisample: Files to combine must be Mono.
Key: 48
* Sample 1: VHSPKeys_C2.wav
* Sample 2: VHSSKeys_C2.wav
Finished.

This bug was fixed in the latest 4.7.1. Are you using this version?SampleScience wrote: ↑Thu Feb 17, 2022 11:23 pm I noticed a bug with certain samples. I get this error message:

Yes, I just checked and that's the version I use.
In the meantime, I found a workaround: I convert the wave files to sf2 using Chicken System Translator and then convert the sf2 to Decent Sampler using ConvertwithMoss.

Wow, thanks for developing this.
Did you use Juce or something like it to build for all 3 platforms?

No, it is implemented in Java, which meanwhile allows to shrink down and bundle the runtime.casualdroid wrote: ↑Mon Feb 21, 2022 6:36 pm Wow, thanks for developing this.

Nice job bundling the runtime BTW.

This great, thank you for making this.
Very long shot request, I have Emulator X3 which I'd bought a number of banks for (.exb and .ebl files). It's stopped working as a VST and I can't get it to work as a standalone so basically the libraries are now useless. As far as I am aware the only software that can translate from these formats is Chickensys Translator and I really don't want to pay $150 to do that.
There are some other versions of the libraries in Kontakt or SF format but I got the impression that they were slightly different.

I have no plans for any of the suggestions above.
