that's ok, I thought it was very unlikely for the Emulator X. I have a number of old SFZ libraries that I'd bought for Alchemy 1 that I can now convert to use in Bitwig. Maybe I can use this to help create some stuff for Equator 2 too.

Many thanks again for what you have made.

That's interesting. Do you know if the whole Alchemy library was in SFZ?

hi,I've just had a quick look as I archived all the Camel stuff when it got taken over.

As far as I can see, the following contain SFZ files;

Factory
Dream Voices
Guitar Mutations
Planet Earth
Steamworx

Alchemy shipped with "taster" libraries from associated sound designers, the following contain SFZ files so I assume the full libraries do.

Analogica
Biolabs
Himalaya Pads
Himalaya Vintage
Shlomo Beatbox
Viral Outbreaks

I looked at the samples included for the taster libraries for the following and these ones do not include SFZ files (but the full libraries might).

Arp Dimensions
Cinematic
Cinematic Atmospheres
Cinematic Impacts
DanceTrance
Dub Step
JunkieXL
Pastoral, Kosmiche, Ambient Music https://markgriffiths.bandcamp.com/
Experimental Music https://markdaltongriffiths.bandcamp.com/

Very long shot request, I have Emulator X3 which I'd bought a number of banks for (.exb and .ebl files). It's stopped working as a VST and I can't get it to work as a standalone so basically the libraries are now useless. As far as I am aware the only software that can translate from these formats is Chickensys Translator and I really don't want to pay $150 to do that.

There are some other versions of the libraries in Kontakt or SF format but I got the impression that they were slightly different.
https://www.extranslator.com/ Extreme Sample Converter can do EmulatorX also can do ProteusX I converted the entire preset collection to .sfz from the ProteusX If I remember right the file was an .exb.
Its old but worked really well for the ProteusX conversion and is a bit cheaper.
Sorry for the highjack and thank you Moss I look forward to trying your utility.

ok thanks, I'd seen mention of the Extreme Translator but the comment on the forum was that it was more expensive than the Chickensys, maybe it was, but it's now much cheaper so thanks for that.

Hi,
is there a matrix witch multisample formats, exist and where I can convert to with what library /tools?

I have a lot of fxb -> zampler/Komplete can I convert them to Ableton/Bitwig?
can I use my Ableton multisamples and packs in Bitwig?
Is there a "best" Exchange format for Multisamples etc.
Is there a standard for Metadata and naming of Files to be successful in converting?
Is it possible to get a statistic, what samplerate/bitrate is used how many velocity levels i will find and such things?

The supported formats are noted in the first post of this thread as well as on the download page. Further info is in the manual (also on the download page) as well as my tutorial videos.

In general, conversion is always a lowest common denominator approach.

Would it be possible to add the ability to convert Wusikstation's .wusiksnd files to wav or even better Korg Wavestate format? :)

Don't think that there is a specification of the format available.

Ahhh I see, that's unfortunate. Oh well it was worth a shot. :)

I'll try to open one of the .wusiksnd files and see if I can obtain any information.

EDIT: Well that didn't work. All I got was stuff like this.....Cÿ»ü<úà÷ÑõôWòßð³ïÁîñíGíÅìWìüë§ëYëëµêeêêºéaé

I wonder if William would want to do some sort of licensing for the sounds to enable people to use those tons of samples? He most likely has the original WAVs (or whatever format) he has them saved in.

fmjsoft Awave Studio can read wusiksnd files (and wusikpack).
But not free.

Great program though.
Definitely worth the coin.
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Akai VIP = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

  • WAV files (*.wav) - only as source
  • Bitwig Studio multisample (*.multisample)
  • SFZ (*.sfz)
  • SoundFont 2 (*.sf2) - only as source
  • DecentSampler (*.dspreset, *.dslibrary)
  • Akai MPC/Force Keygroups (*.xpm)
  • Korg wavestate/modwave (*.korgmultisample)
  • Korg KMP/KSF (*.KMP)
(It started out as a Bitwig focused tool and was previously discussed here: viewtopic.php?t=522786)

Good god Moss! I love you for making such a great tool!! :hail:
And above that also FREE! :)

I started this thread several months ago:

viewtopic.php?p=8247817&hilit=wavestate+snes#p8247817

About sampling and then doing performances on the Wavestate with all the sounds from various Super Nintendo 16-bit video game music soundtracks.

Thanks to you I can now convert all the stuff at https://www.williamkage.com/snes_soundfonts/ to the .korgmultisample format and have a real nostalgic blast from the past!!!
With several instances of Wavestate Native, in my DAW! :)

Many many thanks!! :tu:
With all the fx, amp and synth emulations out there, not to mention AI, you can finally sound like…? Someone else and something that has already been done! :tu:  ------- :scared:

Post

Would be fab if this could convert wusik.snd to Wavestate - pretty please
