And it is out. Intro price for the synth and the sounds bundle is $59 US:

Make sure you buy the bundle version. Same price as the synth alone!

BTW, VST3 only...

I just bought it.

First impressions:

1. It reminds me a lot of my old Yamaha 4 op synths: DX21, DX100, FB01, TX81Z. I really liked those synths.

2. Factory sounds and the bonus packs have plenty of useful sounds.

3. The random patch feature is a lot of fun and can produce some happy accidents.

4. It is easy to get around on and very quick for editing sounds.

5. The filter, wave shaper, and motion sequencer, and filter provide a lot of sound design possibilities not usually found on FM synths.

6. The effects are really nice and I like having the tremolo in addition to chorus, delay and reverb.

7. Well worth the price IMHO. I also bought Alpha at the intro price when it came out.

Its £8.99 for my Iphone I cant see a compelling reason why its $85 for the VST3 version without the presets stripped off, particularly when you look at the quality of other synths that you can get in this price range. Presumably they are adopting Plugin Alliance sales tactics and will be offering this at massive discounts in the near future?

The intro price is $59 for the bundle including extra presets. I think that is a fair price.

I don't agree that so many presets are that bad in F'em. I just went through this morning and favorited a bunch of them as I hadn't done that yet.

Yes, some aren't too great and I would never use them, but that's how it is with many synths. Some presets used too much feedback (IMO) but when I turned that down a bit (or just switched it off) they were more suited to my own tastes. Also if you don't like many presets you could make your own.

Offline serial number though? If so, then I'm interested, especially considering the fair price.

Not sure as I was online when I entered the serial. You can reach out to BLEASS and see.

Online serial numbers are a kind of soft C/R, I will probably demo this anyway though. I'm intrigued, I like 4-op FM.

What did you have to enter in order to activate the synth? If it was only about serial and maybe email number, then it's probably offline serial. I'll ask the dev and report back.

Sounds very promising, will report later once the dev has responded.

If I like 1 out of 1000 presets and I think the overall sound character of every preset is "cheap" sounding ( but not in a good way), I'm not going to spend time making my own I'm going to look at a different synth.
