LU Meter Always Crashes Reaper on Windows on loading

I have a bunch of Hornet plugin that all work fine except LU Meter Mk2 VST2 on Windows 10. Crashes latest Reaper as soon as I load it. Just tried the VST3 and same, very frustrating

Hi, on our Win10 test machine it loads fine.

the only thing that comes to mind is that LU Meter MK2 requires OpenGL 2.1 to work, could you please check your video card driver is correctly installed?

I have this same issue with version 2.1.1 VST2 x64, version 2.1.0 works fine.

However I doubt it's a Open GL issue since I can open it in Kushview Element.
I'm running windows 7 and the previous version works just fine.

The only thing I could find was in Event Viewer:

Hi unfortunately this addresses aren't helpful since I don't know to which module they refer to.

do your crash happens in reaper like the on of the OP?

Yes it crashes directly when inserted in Reaper, while it opens fine in Kush View Element standalone host.

The only way I could get any error log entry was if I bridge it as a dedicated process in Reaper.

I'm not sure what you mean with "which module they refers to"... but I couldn't see anything else mention than the reaper dedicated process and the LU meter MK2.

I can copy the whole log entry next week but IIRC there wasn't much more but then I don't know what's important and what's not

Did you understand what happened? I have similar problems sometimes in Live 11 and Nuendo 12, w10, latest drivers.

Hi everybody with these crashes, please check that the video card driver is correctly installed and it's not the default microsoft one. You need your card manufacturer driver that provides a working OpenGL 2.1 implementation
