"suspense", "detecting suspicious activity" - good analysis. This track was written in response to the recent rampant deployment of AI in the world of media, advertising, politics and business in order to promote or monetise questionable practices or products.VCA-089 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 16, 2022 4:41 pm I really like the suspense aspect in the intro. It feels like you are detecting suspicious activity and something is going to happen. The main part has an electronic drums which a bit rare for your recent music. A really nice and catchy groove. The synth parts are very reminiscent of late 90's to early 2000's electronic. It could have some more variations, but it still very addictive and I could listen to it on the loop.
I could expect to hear it in a dark sci-fi movie/game. Something like "X-Com" or dark flavoured "Command & Conquer" style strategy game.
I went back to EnergyXT2/EXT64 to make this, so it seemed quite fitting to also go back to some of my older instruments and sounds (although these are now 64-bit instead of 32-bit).
I think the last computer games I played were ToCa2 or maybe Silent Service II. I'm sure your choices would be more suitable.
Thanks very much for listening and for the great comments, VCA-089. Glad you liked it
