I think that this is an emulation, no IR. Some of the schematics were reverse engineered on the Gearslutz thread and I guess this plugins builds on top of that, as the author also asked questions there:

The OP/developer already said that it's not IR:

No IR's were used ,algos topology details were obtained by reverse enginering.pure algorythm (allpass, multiplys sums and delays ).

Oddly, this plugin emulation can cost more than the hardware.

Will wait until there’s a Mac version then probably pick this up.

aMUSEd wrote: Sat Aug 20, 2022 10:44 am Thanks - pity you can’t seem to do those things with this - if it had access to all params I might be more interested but from what Sean says, a preset player might as well be an IR loader as far as Midiverb is concerned
That was my instant thought too.
I mean the dev has pretty much nailed it soundwise (imo, from watching the comparison video), then why not take the chance to expand on this (make it more tweakable).
Still good job though.

So, since there is no mac version (yet), I would like to point a great Alesis Midiverb/Microverb plugin for those on OSX: https://korneffaudio.com/product/micro- ... erberator/
It is a great sounding one imo.

Two machines in 1, microverb and midiverb

Yeah but I already have Midiverb IRs so don't need to buy a wrapper for them (and prefer emulations)

Are you also planning on doing one of the later Alesis verbs?

Post

I do have another one planned, but following the same principles of the midiverb algos, but with my own designs:)
Miidiverb 1 didnt had modulation yet it has that beautiful lush sound (it have a lot of similarieties with the old lexicons).
