with you already promoting avenger 2 it would be nice to give us some info on how it will be priced for current owners and recent buyers. else its kinda hard to make a purchasing decision right now.

Manuel has been posting Avenger 2 videos now for - I think - around a year. He’s always been pretty open when he started that release was a long way off. Clearly it’s much closer now - a statement of the obvious really - but I doubt asking nicely will persuade him to release their commercial info before they want to. Sure, no harm in asking, but I wouldn’t hold your breath.

IIRC the last that was said on when it might get released was “probably next year, but just maybe this” (or words to that effect). So Q1 2023 would be my guess, if that makes any difference to Black Friday purchasing decisions.

Yeah but what about the pricing of buying v2 vs updating v1 -> v2?

Is there going to be a grace period for users buying v1 at full price?

Manuel, it would be great if you clarified those points.

Current owners of v1 can just wait and see if the upgrade price is worth it or not but it's different for new customers who have been waiting to buy Avenger knowing v2 might be right around the corner.

Manuel, can you explain a little more about the Avenger 2 roadmap? You've always been very open and forthcoming about development, but I find myself confused at such a huge disparity in "could be this xmas, could be next xmas". Are you still on the drawing board for what features to include? Are there features you know are going to be in there that are still being developed and you don't know how long that will take?

exactly. We have too much on the to do list. Some features may come later in version 2.x (for free if you own 2.0 until 3.0 of course). But there are some essential ones, which I want to have already in 2.0.
I cant give out any details, what features are still in development at this moment.

As the OP yes, mainly because all the info on it was scattered all over the place in a 900 post thread, Facebook etc. I'm a good boy, so I'm going to update the OP with other videos and info as they come in (he said, just remembering that I need to add that last one with the over-enthusiastic bloke in it).

I mean other than the cosmetic changes visible in the videos.

Personally I think this is what Avenger needs the most. It's already quite a beast in sound design capabilities.

Also an improved preset browser more similar to Pigments, Omnisphere, or PhasePlant could attract a lot of users in the cinematic world.
