hi all,
i made a new track. yes i know, it sounds in some moments a bit similar to aphex twins stuff.
i hope it has still enough independence

if someone recognizes mistakes in the mix, please let me know. it is more complex than normally, way too many channels for my taste.

Hi tomtom1,
This track definitely has soul, and I am digging it.
The beat is so jolly, and the melody is very nice to the ear.
Lovely mix, mistakes and all. I do not recognize ant mistake at all.

Very nicely composed - with tension and relaxation, good transitions,
mixed with a lot of space, backed by a strong, driving rhythm. It's a
lot of fun listening to this track!

I really like how the song progresses and gets a little spaz-y toward the end. The sound choices and mix is really good. The only section that sounded a little off was the section that starts at 0:40. The lead almost sounds a little offbeat but may be due to the attack. Still, really nice work.

Thanks for listening. Do you really mean 0:40? or is it 0:50? When i mix my tracksi listened so often to them... sometimes i don't recognize mistakes after that long time.

Thank you for the reviews! Now your song: it's starting very nicely. U.S. president Joe Biden is famous for saying, "Cornpop was a bad dude", but I digress. Get Dave Gahan to sing on it, and you have a hit song! Even without vocals, it all sounds really good!

It seemed like a song in two halves. I really liked the energy and the dynamics in the first 2:15 or so. The melodic variation in this section was great, too. I thought the last two minutes were pleasant to listen to, but had a little less energy than the first half. Maybe you could have added an adapted reprise of the section from 1:29 to 2:16 at 3:21 and then continued from the original 3:21 to the end. This is only my personal feeling and it should be taken with a very large pinch of salt

These changes would take the track length over 5 minutes, which might not be to your liking.

The mix was great.

Well, yes does sound like two different songs, nothing wrong with that..only thing about the mix to me is the snare sounds just a tad bit low. Good tune(s) though, enjoyed!

The opening beat has a nice eighties vibe. Lots of variation to keep the interest, and I really liked your sound choices. Well done!

btw. the track is called cornpops because i switched the syllabes of popcorn. i hope that cornpops doens' have any further bad meaning ...
