Can you please make a quick video/gif of that routing for different drum rolls/frequencies? I can't get it to work as expected. No voice over is needed. I just need to see how the routing is done.mutools wrote: ↑Sun Jan 01, 2023 4:02 pmThat's indeed one way of using it. Other ways possible too. Eg: Route it to a drum sound (eg MuDrum, VST, ...) and map different keys to that same out key = drum sound but with different frequencies = different rolls. Building further on that you could use a Wobble Modulator to subtly modulate the frequency and/or length of the rolls to 'humanize' them.RichardSemper wrote: ↑Sun Jan 01, 2023 12:27 pm Interesting new module. Sort of a midi gate with modulatable frequency.
Took me a moment to work out how to use it, but once I realised that it should feed into an EG not the oscillator it all works fine

You don't need different routings.
In the Note Stutterer editor the Frequency and Length parameters are common to all keys and can both be automated and modulated. Below the keyboard there is the Freq Factor and that one can be set differently for each key. It's a multiplier for the common Frequency parameter.
So for example if the main Frequency is 10 Hz and you set the Freq Factor for C4 to 1/1 and the Freq Factor for D4 to 2/1 then C4 will play at 10 Hz and D4 at 20 Hz.
Does this answer your question?

MuLab App 9.1.1 for Windows 64 bit is available in https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... 64-exe.zip
Download the zip and put the MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files in your existing MuLab 9 folder thus overwriting the previous MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files.
What's changed:
Attention 2: Projects and presets made with M9.1.1 are not downwards compatible = they cannot be opened in a previous version. (nothing exceptional, just an extra memo)
Download the zip and put the MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files in your existing MuLab 9 folder thus overwriting the previous MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID files.
What's changed:
- MuDrum, MuSynth, MuSampla and MultiSampla now are standard MUX patches and thus both its front panel as modular structure can be fully edited.
This also means that MuDrum can now have as many racks and outputs as you want, and that the drum pad editor at the right side can be any MUX front panel, so each drum pad editor can be different and specific. - MUX Front Panels:
- Support for module power on/off button.
- Support for the Tempo Sync button in LFO, Note Stutterer, ...
Use Add Component -> Property Button -> then click the Tempo Sync button on the respective editor to define which one. - Support for connection mutes: Use Add Component -> Property Button -> then click the mute button in a connection editor panel.
- Text Labels: More layout options and can contain other components.
- Parameters: More layout options.
- Group Frames: More layout options.
- Module Slots now support more options for their embedded parameters.
- New front panel component: MultiSample Selector.
- New front panel component: OSC AIPS Switch. AIPS = Add Inverted Phase Shift. Eg. A swatooth with modulated AIPS results in the classic PWM waveform.
For more info on AIPS see the oscillator section on https://www.mutools.com/info/M9/docs/mu ... dules.html - When editing a front panel, the context menu button at the right of the edit (= pencil) button now also includes the global front panel menu where you can define the looks for knobs & sliders for that front panel etc.
(in previous versions this context menu only appeared on right-clicking the front panel's background, which might be too hidden) - Moving/Resizing an item inside its parent now is an undoable action.
- Bug fix: The sample player did not properly reflect the defined height.
- When using the Chebyshev lowpass/highpass filter inside a Plugin Slot now the bandwidth parameter is properly hidden. (previously it was shown but had no effect)
- Several parameters are now properly drawn bipolar, eg. oscillator octave, transpose and finetune, amplifier pad, ...
- New color preferences for group frames, eg. the group frames in the Knob editor, Audio Stretch Properties, etc...
This does not affect group frames on front panels which have their own color definitions. - Sequence editor: When drawing a curve with an almost zero time range this could cause a crash. Fixed.
- When reloading a project/preset with audio with a selection, the selection markers were not drawn as intended. Fixed.
- In specific cases toggling the docked project browser could unintendedly change the project editor window size. Fixed.
- Where colors can be edited and there is the 'No Color' option, it's now shown as a grey background with an X in it instead of an asterisk to make it a bit more understandable.
- Further vectorization of the GUI = less dependency on external graphic files.
- Other improvements.
Attention 2: Projects and presets made with M9.1.1 are not downwards compatible = they cannot be opened in a previous version. (nothing exceptional, just an extra memo)

Please leave a configured MuDrum available. It is quite elegant as is. I do like the access also.
When I expand a psd to show the sampler.....the sampler window is so large it doesnt fit side by side with the pads. Therefore the pads are in a window behind the sampler creating multiple clicks opening and closing windows.
