Yeah, I mentioned that Neural Amp Modeling software a post or two ago — that’s a good suggestion to capture stuff digitally before selling any of it. That NAM software seems pretty impressive especially since it’s free and open source! Thanks for the handy links.zerocrossing wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 7:51 pm
Before you go all Marie Kondo, you might want to try capturing all your stuff at your favorite settings. That way you won't feel like you won't ever have access to something cool but maybe not something you'd use all the time. Also, you could have the entire thing in a silent form for when playing loud isn't an option. I've been using the NAM stuff and I've been pretty blown away at how close it is and it's totally free.

They're working on a gear repository site so you won't have to use FaceBook to find stuff, but if you just want to capture your own stuff for your own use, you can just go to github.

The rig I’m trying to set up would require at least 3 and possibly 4 or more amp models and stereo effects and the interaction is key, I think it would max out most computer systems, and I just prefer to put together actual physical rigs for home, but it would be a good way to save something useful and useable from any equipment that I eventually sell, so I will keep that in mind!
