my amplesound guitar (the LP model) is native; just the amplesounds installer is not. ALL my 3rd-party plugins are now native :tu:

Just to update this (I know that post was from May), as of today the following Roland Cloud instruments ARE AS ready:

JUNO-60
JX-3P
PROMARS
SH-101
SH-2
System-1
System-8
System-100
TB-303
TR-606
TR-707
TR-727
TR-808
TR-909

...not a bad list. All came within the last few weeks.

Also note: the AU versions had been AS native for a long time. It was the VST3's that were not.

Very unlikely that Microsoft closes its OS to exclusive use of Microsoft hardware tomorrow, and tells everyone that it's time to switch everything to ARM.

Sorry, just wanted to say that. Not worth a discussion in this thread. :)

right. but you felt you had to say that...

and yes, apple has moved to a new, better processor. how terrible. and intel macs are still being supported. also terrible! :D

Post

"Better" meaning more efficient, not more powerful in this case.

huh? my M2 pro mini, in every way, blows away my previous 2019 imac. 'better' as in more efficient, more powerful, more capable.

but i thought you didn't want a conversation? perhaps start your own thread, because the world (& kvr) is about due for another 'mac vs pc' battle
