Hi,
I am on, TX16Wx 3.5.1a 6456.645
runs inside DAW (cakewalk) as vst

This is probably some sort of config issue, or TX16Wx and DAW compatibility, otherwise all would probably scream about this. Just can't get where it should be configured. Please advice!

Issue is, when I am trying to rename anything in TX16Wx either it is loop, wave or performance... literally everywhere where keyboard input can have typing in, I simply cannot. Only few keys are enterable. As a workaround I type what I need in a notepad, and than do copy/paste (with a mouse) into TX16wx.
Also while I am typing in TX16Wx I noticed that in a background my DAW is reacting to the input keys, means the DAW shortcuts kicks in instead of keyboard typing in.
How do I configure TX16Wx, to take input control when it is active, over my DAW?

Thank you in advance friends!

No idea how to configure this in cakewalk, but this sounds like the host is swallowing all key input messages from the window queue, _or_ not adhering to the key delegation scheme of VST2 (assuming you are using VST2). Unfortunately this is not something you can control from TX setting (or TX would simply do it), but a host config issue. So I can't really say.

I had the same problem and eventually found a solution on the Cakewalk forums. There's a keyboard button in the upper right corner of the plug-in window. The tooltip says "Give All Keystrokes to Plug-in." When you enable it, keystrokes work in the plug-in window as long as it has focus.
