I'd like to focus on creating great plugins ... instead of spending my time, brain and energy on marketing etc

So I need a partner who does the distribution, sales and tax side of this, and for this tracktion is the perfect partner. They have a dedicated program "Tracktion presents" for indie devs like me.
Oh thanks for the kind response! Cool that they are giving a spotlight on great creators like you- looking fwd to trying out some of these cool products!

yoursoul wrote: Sun Nov 24, 2024 9:35 am not able to access my computer atm, so looking for opinions of myth users who are working on an apple m1 cpu... how is the performance for you?

im thinking about getting it as a sound design instrument whichs outcome i bounce to audio to edit further. not planning to use multiple instances too much...
not an apple user, but i believe M1 will run MYTH without problems.
i tried it now and its fine, indeed. especially with the function to render the last played note as audio quickly by dragging makes it easy to use only one or two instances for me.

havent had this much fun exploring and playing with a synth for a long time. its weird as f**k and exactly my cup of tea. great work, dawesome!!

I discovered Dawesome and MYTH from comments posted on a thread I created:

After some research, I became super excited and picked up MYTH as well as Novum and Love. Side note: Auto spell correct insists on changing Novum to Ovum. LOL. I mainly use audio software in a classroom setting, which is challenging, yet rewarding. In my situation, I need to keep the kids' attention. MYTH is not only a sonically powerful tool to synthesize, sample, and "everything in between," but it will look freakin' amazing when projected on the wall in our classroom. I usually dread the end of Winter break, but now I am looking forward to going back and dragging and dropping our audio snippets into this beast. Cool stuff!!!

Cool stuff indeed. Novum does sound quite crazy too. The kids will love both.

By the way I would have loved to have you as a teacher from the future a few decades ago.

I actually bought Myth because of the sound design you did in this video. And I purchased your sound set. Fantastic work, Markus. :tu:

Thank you - it's Simon, not Markus - that's my older brother, the trumpet player.
