There is an interesting story behind that painting. A sad story, however. Thank you for listening.

Lovely, cinematic, really like those subtle plucks that come in around 1:52, the little piano runs at 3:01 are really nice too.

Thank you! I’m happy with this, even though it’s a sad song. Hope everything is going well.

There is a true story behind this painting. I once thought this was just a nice picture of a young woman reclining in a field of grass. Then I discovered that she was actually paralyzed from the waist down. She rejected a wheelchair and chose to crawl. I tried to incorporate two repeating themes. The first is a series of short ascending motifs that represent her desire to get up and walk again. The second one was a deep bass note that represented a voice saying “NO”. That house is a long way off. It’s a sad story and needed a sad song.

Thank you for listening, and for your comment. Very much appreciated! Have a nice day.

You've obviously put a lot of thought into your composing of this. When people put thought behind their music, it tends to be more obvious, and profound.
