Trying to sing a Seal tune is a bit bold maybe, but this was probably the easiest of his catalog.

I tried to do the slick 90s production. Obviously not in the ballpark of a Trevor Horn mix, but as long as I learn from it each time, that's all that matters. Feedback requested!
To me, the early 90s were very much holding on to 80s production so I did a guitar lead that seemed appropriate for the era.

AT4050 for both the vocal+guitar, going into the Heritage 'Elite' 1073 pre into Warm1176 and then into ART PROVLA. Stereo bus was using the Arturia DiodeComp into Warm BussComp and then using the Cubase Maximizer plugin. I mean, it sounds like me singing no matter what I do right? ...so whatever... :)

I went for a slightly raspy vocal tone here.. does it work? Vocals are an ongoing thing for me. Maybe I'm slowly improving.. it's hard to tell. :)
