Welcome back Mark! I'm listening through some of these tracks at work and the production is really outstanding. Lots of details but very well balanced. Great work.

Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, it has been awhile! I will try to use KVR a bit more frequently if at all possible! :ud:

Your feedback about the production is reassuring! And all your listens on SC very much appreciated! :borg:

"The Elevator Paradox" is a really nice piece of late-night listening. At just after the halfway point, the CS80 sound arrived, giving the Vangelis effect. The Elevator Paradox theory is blown to pieces in my local shopping centre, where the lifts always seem to be out of order.

Good work :)

ChameleonMusic,
Sorry for the late reply; somehow I missed your review a few weeks ago. I will blame being distracted by the election going on in the USA that day. ;) Listening to "Subway to Saturn": the intro reminded me of being on a ride at Disneyland. Sound quality is very good. Cool song and recording! :)

Hi Tim,
The Elevator Paradox is one that I composed right at the very start of the project (some 2 years ago). I chucked it / put it back in / chucked it / put it back in numerous times during the final sort! :ud: :ud: :ud: :ud: Impossible to stay objective after a while! :help: :help: :help:

Original version was double the length with a 'B section' as such...decided it didn't work and ripped it out a month or so before release! :ud: :ud: :ud: i think the final sorting / admin caused more angst than the composing / mixing / mastering!

Thanks for the listen and feedback...I've finally decided that I quite like this one...especially when the CS80 lead kicks in and hopefully lifts it all up!

Supermarket elevators / lifts et al...

I recorded the local Sainsbury's travellator last week (boy, did I get some weird looks)...it is always breaking down and even when working has some of the most extraordinary grunts, groans, whines and squeaks!
