I'm trying to be less cliche' and self-judgemental, and just get more practice every time I make a tune.
I can't guarantee that any version of any tune will ever improve, so I'm just trying to get them each "mostly done" and out somewhere that me and other people can hear them "in the wild".

I'm also trying to rely less on drum loops since they are a nightmare to mix and I can't really do DnB anyhow.

P.S.- please let me know if the mix sounds too muffled or too trebley

I have trouble thinking up clever tune names.

I love the synth work in this. I think you need to speed it up. 110 would give it a good synthwave vibe.

Very cool track! Big, funky and aggressive. Great combination of instruments that cover the entire audio spectrum. Sounds great in my headphones. I wouldn’t change the tempo. It works really well for the composition. I use drum loops all the time. If it fits, go for it. Don’t worry about pleasing everyone. It will never happen. Believe me, I know about that. I have 300+ tracks on SoundCloud. Some do well, others not so much. I would only start worrying if your mortgage payment depends on it. In the meantime, just have fun and keep posting.

@Paulieworld, your encouragement really helps.

About SoundCloud, I was surprised about a collaborator who worked successfully with Chase and Status and on his homepage he seemed to have almost no plays, but his vocals on "Baddadan" with Chase and Status has HUGE popularity. So yeah, SoundCloud is odd and pleasing everyone ain't gonna happen, even for the pros. I think the vocalist's name was IRAH or something like that. I could be wrong.

Anyways, thanks for listening and the encouragement. It helps me to avoid just deleting all my content.
I just put up another tune with 1 more on the way soon.

BTW - I had a similar experience with a track called I Swear To God. I added vocals and it got over 2700 plays. You never know what people will like.

Cool song. I like your stuff, kinda reminds me of mine own only less dark . A mashup a genre’s and instruments,something I love and aim for in my own music. Keep it up
