I like the different themes you introduce. Especially that part that first comes in around :50 with the distorted bass. Some really inventive parts. I like the vibe - mysterious, chilled, distant. One thing I noticed is that the mix seems fairly concentrated in the mid range. But maybe that's be design.

@ecamburn: thanks for listening and commenting. it's so hard to get any responses while making music.
the midrangey thing is a persisten mix quality problem i have because of my speakers / room / placement / headphones are all worst case scenario.
i'm using very low quality speakers and headphones, in a tiny echoey room (a walk in closet), and I can't properly hear this mix to choose instruments or whatnot.
also, i suffered some hearing damage last summer so i'm not even sure if i can hear certain frequencies or if they are exaggerated to me or not.
i will see what i can do about it though. maybe my hearing loss is exactly in the middle.
