I was in a good mood after fixing some technical glitches of my Digital Audio Workstation and I wandered into a new genre... this "epic ringtone" type of genre. I'm thinking of ways to string together sounds in more interesting ways that still get across the "loopitis barrier" of boringness. Sounding more cinematic seems to be a way forward.

This is just a prototype, but it's working out.

The technical glitch overcome was discovering that my main program (Cockos Reaper) works better in adapter mode (WINE) than in direct "native" (Linux) mode. And so all of a sudden ALL of my software synths are working tons better and aren't crashing and are more responsive.

I can get my ideas down faster without hangups now.
This is a good way to start 2025.

actually, i got kinda carried away. it's just a snippet from a full tune I'll be working on later. LOL
