The inspiration for “Machine Learning” started with finding a clacking machine sound in Spectrasonics Omnisphere that moved across the stereo field. Drums, NS Chapman Stick, and guitars were added. Synthesizers provided harmonies and countermelodies, while the organ added contrast.
The vocal “solo” occurred by chance. I added a measure of silence before the end and imagined a percussion part. Instead, I sang it and expanded it to four tracks. Thankfully, no one was injured during recording.

This sounds great! Something about that organ part around ~2:03 reminds me of "Bedlam in Goliath"-era Mars Volta. Compliments also on how well this is mixed. The sound width is massive!

Thanks very much, EffectiveFx! I give a lot of credit to the Omnisphere patch I used for the main synth line for stereo width of the piece. I just tweaked it a little.
