Ohh – it's completely guitar-based, you we practically see you right there.
And it develops a sense of closeness and dynamism. Great composition:
guitar grooves and vocals complement each other wonderfully and form
a whole. Fun to listen to – superbly coordinated. The trumpet at the
end is still surprising, though; it jumps out a bit from the whole. Thankfully,
you end it all with the chorus melody.

Overall: well done, diverse, fun, groovy! :tu:

Great melodies throughout. I really liked the mix, too. In terms of style, I thought it was a little like how I imagine a hybrid of Spirit and XTC might sound. There were some tasty chord changes, and the chord bends at 2:26 were great. The drums sounded lively without becoming overpowering. My favourite track by you.

Good work :)

Loved the slow build and the huge textural variety in there...

The drop to the chilled trumpet-led section at 3:14 is magical.

Always a pleasure listening to your music my friend. Very creative arrangement and great vocal performances, as usual!

Thanks for sharing!

Putting some good in the term "pop." It was somewhat distorted, was that the piece or a crappy interweb? If it was intentional, that's cool, i like to play scratchy records and enjoy my decline.
The horn was a nice surprise.

Appreciate your thorough review. I think the trumpet is tonally a bit strange for the piece. But I enjoy how it fits with the composition.

Thanks seismic. I worked the drums for a while, so glad they mesh with the rest of the instruments. There are two things going on with the chords at 2:26. The main thing is sliding up the neck in the performance. The other is a production trick. There are slight pitch drops on small slices of the DI guitar (around half a semitone) to mimic a bending sound.

Thanks for listening. The overall mix shouldn't be distorted. Glad you enjoyed.
