ApShaper presets acting weird

Hello,
Saving a new preset doesn't actually save it for me on latest ApShaper build in Bitwig 4.4, Win10. It’s like the demo restriction is still affecting me.
But I can export it to desktop, drag it into the preset folder on my hard drive, and then it will appear properly.
It would also be nice to have an A/B preset comparison function.

If you can export to the Desktop, then you are certainly not in demo mode. I am assuming "saving a preset" means the internal save of the plugin where a preset gets added to the menu. This uses the same code as export - just with a fixed path, so the only thing that comes to my mind that could go wrong is that maybe the plugin isn't allowed to write to the presets folder? It's inside Users/../AppData which should always be writable. If you drag the preset manually, do you get asked to elevate rights?
Folder users and rights can be checked using Windows Explorer file properties.

Okay it was a permissions issue, I enabled writing for the user level and some other levels and now it is working! Thanks!
My presets are actually in C:\Program Files\apShaper\Presets

Nice to hear you were able to fix the issue! I see that the option to have a custom folder can be a bit misleading here. If you choose a location where your user has no write access, the plugin will not work as intended. Thank you for figuring it out, I'll think about how to make this clearer in the future.
