Why are there no VST3/AAX EQs with a Heatmap Analyzer like FL Studio?

Plugin Idea: Parametric EQ with FL Studio-style Heatmap Analyzer

I would love to see a modern VST3/AAX/AU equalizer that uses a spectrum analyzer similar to the Heatmap display found in FL Studio’s Fruity Parametric EQ 2.

Most modern EQs use a traditional FFT line display (FabFilter Pro-Q 3, Kirchhoff EQ, etc.), but FL Studio’s Heatmap visualization presents frequency energy as color intensity over time, making it very easy to identify resonances, dominant frequencies, low-end buildup, and sibilance at a glance.

Key features I would like to see:

* Heatmap spectrum analyzer inspired by Fruity Parametric EQ 2
* Traditional FFT view as an optional mode
* Dynamic EQ capabilities
* VST3, AU and AAX support
* Low CPU usage
* Resizable interface
* Mid/Side processing
* Sidechain support
* Spectrum matching between plugin instances
* Adjustable heatmap persistence and color intensity

The goal is not to copy FL Studio’s EQ itself, but to bring that style of spectral visualization into a modern professional equalizer for all DAWs.

I believe many engineers and producers find the Heatmap display faster and more intuitive than a constantly moving FFT line, especially when searching for resonances and problematic frequency build-ups.

Would anyone else be interested in a plugin like this?
