And then I don't think it supports download resumers, but then again, I've never tried.

1 file as a zip or rar about 100MB if you have a lot of fonts or sounds bigger than this, pm me and I will find another way for you to upload to the server, and that's a good point, make sure the sound font is in a zip or rar file, even if its sfpack etc, it needs to go into an archive format to be able to upload at upto 100MBgeoffkhan wrote:Looks interesting! How about bandwidth? Is it all good in that respect, also?Spe3D wrote:1 file as a zip or rar about 100MB if you have a lot of fonts or sounds bigger than this, pm me and I will find another way for you to upload to the server, and that's a good point, make sure the sound font is in a zip or rar file, even if its sfpack etc, it needs to go into an archive format to be able to upload at upto 100MBgeoffkhan wrote:Looks interesting! I'm pretty sure none of my soundfonts exceed 100 megs, though, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Sounds good to me, just get back to me about the bandwidth stuff, and then I'll post my soundfonts there.
Oh, and thank you!

As long as you make posts to the actual post at the forum so others can download (without registration) from there - and don't post direct links to the actual file download - then bandwidth is not a problem - lots of bandwidth for soundfonts, waves, mp3s. I am thinking of adding streaming video and flash (well I got the flash bit up) in the future too
Any problems with uploading, let me know, also I did a quick guide to uploading to the forum there too.

I've just posted two more mappings of Geoff's kit.
http://www.drealm.info/sfz/K-v-R/LiveKit7.html
They're in my preferred alternate format. I've also updated my full mix alternate mapping for some very minor tweaks.
The two new mappings provide two alternative approaches to letting you automate the mix between the various layers.
The first lets you select the overall balance between overhead and proximal mics (with snare timbre also adjustable). (This is set up so each instrument would route to a separate out if there were a player that supported it.)
The second lets you adjust each instrument's mix separately (with one output per layer).

First, thanks very much for a great SF. It's just what I've been looking for.
But... it's a soundfont, so can't route snare, kick etc to different outputs in my mixer. Can anyone suggest a way to do this? Sorry to be dumb... I have DS404 as a sampler but that's it right now. Thanks.

Just gotta say...
This kit still inspires me. Might even take the place of the old Blue Jay stand-by!

I have to thanks the guy who made this drumkit, is awesome, many many thanks.
Just found that the snare is on one key only, is better to have at least two keys (easier to play drums realtime) I have edited it on vienna anyways.
Thanks again.

I am not too versed on drumkits etc etc..Stupid question here, how do I go about installing this kit and using it? I downloaded this but see no way to use the file as a plugin and do not see any installer program for it. Any advise is much appreciated.
