I would pay for a bank of well designed patches...
Rob Papen has one http://www.robpapen.com/andromeda.html
I'm selling my A6 so I'm no longer interested in A6 patches.
My Andy is for sale in the market place but preferably only in Denmark.

None, or all. :)

Any other comments about your work you would like to present.

I've been involved with synthesis and computer-based music production since 1997. Throughout that time, sound design has been at the core of my process, starting with experiments in sample-based synthesis using the built-in sampler on my SoundBlaster AWE 64.

Hello Sound Designers.
I'm relatively new to sound design and to this forum and am looking for some help regarding creating some sounds.
Specifically, I'm creating back tracks for a Madonna covers project and having trouble with a few specific sounds. My set up is probably extreemly basic compared to what most of you guys have just using Cubase with a few VST's.
If you are able to I promise to take up a minimal amount of your time - please send me a PM.
Thanks for reading.....

Bit OT, but given the experience of those in this thread, I thought it may be the best place to ask!

Would anyone care to share how they got their break doing what their doing? Was it via self promotion, doing free jobs, grabbing the coffee for the inhouse designers?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks a plenty Rob! Really appreciate the time you taken with that response.

I've been creating patches for a few years now for my own music/productions, using lot's of different bits of gear from hardware analogs to softs to drum machines to circuit bent stuff, not sure if my catalog of sounds (sound palette also) is deep enough yet to approach any devs just yet.

Any worth in approaching any sound design houses to see if they need a bitch around? lol
