Audio Damage renames Reverence as ADverb

5th December 2008

Due to a naming conflict with a well-known company, Audio Damage has voluntarily renamed its Reverence plate reverb effect plug-in to ADverb, and put installers for Mac OS X VST and AU and Windows VST in to the accounts of all Reverence customers. All customers are encouraged to download, install, and migrate to the new plug-in, as the original Reverence will no longer be updated.

ADverbThe two plug-ins are sonically identical. The only changes are the internal name strings and the appropriate names on the user interface. ADverb picks up where Reverence left off in the versioning system, and is released at v1.0.3. 1 for Windows and v1.0.4 for Mac OS X.

ADverb is a model of a vintage digital plate reverberator. It faithfully recreates the thick sonic character and easy-to-use interface of those early units, while providing the low noise floor and big headroom inherent in modern software-based reverb.
