Loopmasters released several new sample / loop libraries in June:

Future Acid [£19.95]

The Future Acid sample pack created by Marco Scherer exclusively for Loopmasters is a diverse celebration of the sound of Acid House, and includes 909-style Drums alongside the 303 Synth and Bass lines, all with a more modern, minimal edge which are aligned to current music production styles and methods, and modern Electro, Tech and Progressive House and Trance.

In this collection you get over 300 MB of royalty free material which includes 300 Wav files, 300 Apple Loops and 300 Rex2 Files. You also get 65 MIDI Files with the programming for the patterns allowing you the freedom to trigger your own synths and soft samplers.

You get Acid Basses, 303-esque Pads and rich and deep basslines, synth FX and of course plenty of modulation and tweakability with this collection of 192 Synth, Bass, Pad and Musical elements, complemented with a collection of 100+ Drum Loops and Percussion parts which are created in the style of the 303's long term partner – the Roland TR-909 Drum Machine.

Full Cycle – Drum and Bass Collective [£34.95]

This "heavyweight collection of sonic stimuli" was created especially for Loopmasters by the Full Cycle team themselves. The breaks were recorded live at Full Cycle / Channel House studios in Bristol and everything was recorded using high end vintage outboard equipment and then processed digitally.

In detail you can expect to find 34 Cone Shaking Bass Loops, 83 Hard and Broken live played and reprogrammed Drum and Bass Drumloops, 43 Tearout Musical Loops, 11 Vocal and FX Loops, 46 DnB Percussion Loops, 77 Deep Bass Stabs, 70 Individual Drum and Bass Drum Samples, 20 Instrument one shot sounds, 68 Vox and FX samples and 47 ready to play patches for Reason NNXT, Halion, Kontakt, and SFZ.

The complete collection weighs in at 850MB, with 450 Wav Files, 217 Rex Files, and 47 Patches. The collection is also available as a Reason Refill, Ableton Live Pack, and as Apple Loops.

Hyper – Electro Rock and Breaks [£24.95]

Hyper is a DJ whose recent output has seen him forming a rock 'n' roll band under the Hyper moniker, featuring Prodigy member Leeroy, ex-Pitchshifter axe-spanker (WTF???) Jim Davies and The Light and PFNs main-man Ronnie.

Hyper has spent months creating the definitive cross genre sample collection for Loopmasters; and Electro Rock and Breaks crosses through the territories of Electro, Rock, House and Breaks to bring a versatile and useful collection for producers worldwide looking for sounds with attitude, grit and impact, according to Loopmasters.

Classic – Classic House [£34.95]

Loopmasters Label Series continues its journey with a new sample collection from Classic Records. Created by Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon back in the day – and now co-run with Justin Harris of Freaks Fame – Classic House is a journey from past to present and explores both where the Classic sound has come from alongside a collection of sounds which represent their current studio resurgence.

This exclusive sample pack has been produced by Justin Harris and includes royalty free loops from both Luke and Derrick, guaranteeing a true sonic reflection of the House flavours, beats and samples that have been used time and again by the label in hit dance tunes over the last decade, and now for the first time available royalty free to house producers worldwide.

Global Beatworks vol2 – Afro Cuban Percussion [£14.95]

This is the second volume in the Global Beatworks World Percussion Series which features the drumming expertise of Master Drummer Simon Webster, who is recorded by long term friend and notable engineer/producer Ike Nossel.

The Series captures the diverse range of percussion instruments from around the world which simon has collected, and will bring these unique sounds and his perfect playing style to your productions, adding new inspiration or simply a live played groove to complement your tracks.

Global Beatworks vol2, Afro Cuban drums concentrates on the drums and percussion most usually found in North Africa, from Cairo to Casablanca – and is also influenced by the rhythms of Cuba – and so presents a unique blend of traditional sounds and patterns, with everything captured perfectly in the mix.

Using tempos of 92/98/105/110 and 115 beats per minute, the collection features 90 extended loops including Conga, Basket Loops, Bongos, Shakers, Darbouka, Djembe, Maraccas and Bells. You get Full Mixed loops alongside all the individual parts so that you can easily mix and match to create unique grooves and patterns.

Minimal Underground Techno [£24.95]

The Minimal Underground Techno sample collection was created from analogue machines and treated to liberal doses of fx, compression and editing. Featuring Wobbly Melodies, Spiky Bleeps, Fractured Percussion, Dubbed out Glitch FX, Cavernous Impacts, Perpetual Rising Breaks and Thick Moody Chords, Minimal Underground Techno provides the modern samplist with all the ingredients to make moody minimal productions in Techno, House or Dubstep, according to Loopmasters.

Inspired by Labels such as Minus, Cocoon, Soma and Klang, and artists including Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Slam, Radioslave and Adam Beyer.

Included in this original collection of Minimal Techno samples you will find over 450MB which includes 30 Chugging Bass Loops, 23 Analogue Beat-box drumloops, 28 No Kick Loops, 10 Kick only Loops, 73 Top loops, 13 Sci Fi Ambiences, 34 Thick Moody Synth Chords, 18 FX samples, and 10 Minimal Kicks, Snares, Hats, Percussion and Snare samples, including patches for your favourite soft samplers.

Reel People – Broken Beat, Nu Jazz and Soul vol 2 [£24.95]

This is Vol 2 of the Reel People Broken Beat, Nu Jazz and Soul Series. Vol 2 goes even deeper into the vaults of Papa Records. Over 780 ACIDized Wav and Rex2 samples explore the boundaries of House, Broken Beat and Lounge featuring authentic live instrumentation broken down into easy to use loops and individual hits.

Assembled by Reel People leader and Papa Records founder Oli Lazarus, this collection features over 700MB of pure, soulful sounds, which have graced releases from artists such as DJ Spinna, Reel People, Blaze, Osunlade, Jon Cutler, Dennis Ferrer and Domu.

In detail you will find in the drumloops section 52 Broken Beat Loops, 23 House Beats, 39 Live played loops and 33 Nu Soul Breaks. IN the Drum Hits section you can expect 24 Cymbals, 147 LIve HIts, 28 Hats, 30 Snares and 21 Kick Drums. The Bass folder includes 4 Acoustic Bass Loops, 27 Electric Bass Parts and 16 Synth Bass Loops. Percussion includes 18 Conga Loops, 28 Shaker Loops and 40 Other Percussion Loops.

Musically you can expect to find 71 Guitar Loops, 13 String Sections, and more than 89 Keyboard Loops including Organ, Lead, Clav and Fender Rhodes. Also included are 15 Percussion single hits and 27 Sound FX.
