Impact Soundworks has announced the release of Groove Bias Percussion for Native Instruments' Kontakt (2+).
Impact Soundworks' vintage drum library, Groove Bias, featured three old-school drum kits recorded using all-analog signal paths, classic consoles, beat-up mics, and actual tape machines at the end of the chain. However, it also included a full set of hand percussion recorded through the same signal chain. Groove Bias Percussion is a "light" version of Groove Bias, including no drum kits but all the hand percussion (5x velocities and 5x RRs per layer): rim-shots, agogo, bongos, cowbell, triangle, shaker, tambourine, woodblock and hand claps, all sent to tape for an ultra-warm sound.
Plus, when you're ready to upgrade to the full version of Groove Bias, you can do so at a discount.
Groove Bias Percussion is available as a direct download via the Impact Soundworks website for $19.
