Native Instruments Kompakt v1.0.2 (OS X) released

Native Instruments have updated the Mac version of the Kompakt engine to v1.0.2 bringing with it OS X support, including support for Core Audio, Audio Units, VST and RTAS.

Note on compatibility of KONTAKT with KOMPAKT Instruments libraries (by EAST WEST, ZERO-G etc.)

This KOMPAKT Mac OS X version does not authorize the content of KOMPAKT Instruments from other parties such as EAST WEST or Zero-G for further use in the sampler KONTAKT. To authorize a library of a KOMPAKT Instrument for use with NI KONTAKT Mac OS X, the Mac OS X version of the respective KOMPAKT Instrument is required. These versions will be published by the library producers soon. The KOMPAKT Instruments will need to be registered and run at least once to authorize the library.
