Studio Devil Guitar Amp now available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Studio Devil has announced the release of an iOS version of its Guitar Amp plug-in. It costs $4.99.

Studio Devil Guitar Amp is a guitar tube amplifier emulation effect that turns your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad into an authentic-sounding guitar tube amp, with all the tone and dynamics you expect from the real thing. This app requires headphones and / or a guitar input device (such as the iRig, AmpKit, or similar guitar interfaces) to function correctly.

Guitar Amp brings you the tone of coveted vacuum tube amps using Studio Devil's proprietary vacuum tube modeling technology. Select from three different amp styles, three different amplifier speaker cabinets, and tweak gain, level, bass, and treble controls just like on real amps. Tones range from classic clean (GREEN amp), to British Crunch (YELLOW amp), and on to Modern Lead (RED amp). Cabinet choices help sculpt your tone with choices from practice amp, to large combo, or half-stack.
