u-he Zebra v1.5 Preview (build 7) released

u-he have released a preview build of Zebra v1.5, their new Audio Unit synthesizer, which is a quantum leap update to the original Zebra 1.0. Not only does it have an improved feature set, it also lets you control its modular voice structure.

Although the new possibilities look overwhelming at first, its user interface makes sound creation very simple. Zebra is a Wireless Modular Synth, it has no patch cords, it is all drag and drop for instant gratification!

This Preview version gives you the chance to check out the new features and sonic possibilities right now, 14 days before its official release. Despite being a preview version, it's pretty full featured. There are some minor issues to solve, mainly writing a complete manual and adding some less important stuff.

Nevertheless, the 180+ new presets (128 insane patches by Biomechanoid  and 55 new Factory presets) speak for themselves, with more of this stuff to come in May/June. Of course, the 250+ original presets still work perfectly!

Zebra v1.5 will cost $199 USD (free update for owners of Zebra v1.0, which can currently be purchased for $159) and is scheduled for release on May 15th, 2004.
