Tronsonic release "Organatron m100" for Kontakt

18th January 2012

Tronsonic has released "Organatron m100", a new organ sample pack for Kontakt.

This pack features all 9 drawbars, bass pedals and percussion harmonics from the legendary rock/jazz organ - the Hammond M100, as used by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and many other greats from the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Tronsonic sampled this instrument to tape on vintage valve equipment to emulate the Mellotron sound, and is primarily aimed at Kontakt users (4.2.3 or above), with over 35 drawbar presets, and MIDI control over each drawbar, leslie, vibrato, reverb/delay, and even ADSR envelopes, though will work with ESX24, Structure and NNXT.

Organatron features a compressor option on the master output to replicate 'key bounce' and compression of the original instrument, plus detailed control over drawbar leakage and vibrato.

According to Tronsonic, this virtual instrument was also designed for live use, and reportedly gives a very authentic sound when overdriven through keyboard amps or leslie speakers.

Organatron m100 is 662 MB download and costs £18.99 (10% off in members shop).
