Zynaptiq and Prosoniq Products Software announced they have recently struck an agreement that grants Zynaptiq the exclusive and transferable usage, licensing, modification and intellectual property rights to various Prosoniq products and technologies that were put on hold during the transition to Mac OS X.
The agreement includes:
Zynaptiq will provide existing users of the acquired titles with an upgrade path when software derived from or related to these products becomes available. Specifically, APEM users are eligible for a cross-grade path to Zynaptiq's UNVEIL de-reverberation plug-in, and will be contacted by Prosoniq in the following weeks.
"I'm more than happy to announce this agreement, as I've always been a big fan of Prosoniq's high-tech products." Zynaptiq CEO Denis H. Goekdag said. "Combined with our MAP de-mixing engine, the technologies we've acquired put Zynaptiq in a very strong position, and we'll be creating many unique and exciting new products from that. One example is our UNVEIL de-reverberator, which is in part based on APEM."
