Cytomic updates "The Glue" to v1.2.7 and "The Drop" to v0.9.16

Cytomic has released updates for The Glue (v1.2.7) and The Drop (v0.9.16).

The Glue v1.2.7 fixes a serious but intermittent bug in the oversampling engine and also updates to the most recent version of the JUCE framework for greater compatibility with all hosts and operating systems.

• New: preset menu now contains a list of available presets sorted by categories.
• New: optional dc blocking in the main signal path.
• New: updated to latest JUCE framework for greater compatibility.
• Fixed: bug in oversampling that could cause silence or crashes under certain conditions.

The Drop v0.9.16 includes the new Cascade and Cascade SH circuit models as well as optimisations to the Sallen Key and Sallen Key MS2 models.

• New: Cascade and Cascade SH low pass, Cascade high pass.
• New: updated smoothing algorithm to be more responsive to small quick movements.
• New: Increased maximum possible resonance.
• New: filters are now "warmed up" to prevent clicks when switching circuits.
• Fixed: bug in oversampling that could cause silence or crashes under certain conditions.
